Alyson House is a residential home for adults with a learning disability. The Home is situated close to Southend seafront and close to local amenities.
Residents are motivated by our friendly and dedicated staff, to determine their lifestyles according to their choice and ability. We strive to provide them with care and attention specifically tailored to each individuals needs. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure environment where encouragement of self expression is exercised in keeping with the following values: dignity, privacy, choice, rights, independence, fulfillment, ownership and participation. The individuality is of paramount importance.
Our aim is to provide each resident with comprehensive needs led, person centered care in a warm friendly environment to enable residents and carers to support and recognize their personal identity and achieve their aspirations in participating in ordinary activities. Before admission, it would be expected that the future client would experience day care and respite care in their chosen home.
We consider ourselves a family here at Alyson House and place great emphasis on making a resident feel that they are welcome, cared for and above all else home.
