About Us
Our mission is to provide a community orientated high measurable quality of service to residents promoting their rights, regardless of their disabilities to live in society on the same terms as all others. All residents needs will be assessed and met via personalized care plans. Alyson House is committed to the principles of 'ordinary living'. We aim to provide a full range of facilities and quality services to meet our resident’s care needs, social, emotional and physical needs. Therefore the care we offer will meet resident’s changing needs and we actively involved resident’s relatives, friends and external independent advocate as their mentor to assist in promoting their rights.
For prospective residents the initial three months is considered as a trial period. And during this period a full assessment will be conducted with the involvement of the resident and/or relative/advocate and social worker. As for permanent residents, we review each personalized care plan at least twice a year with the involvement of their family, advocate and other professional agencies. The emphasis is on making Alyson House the resident’s home.
Each resident is given the opportunity to build up a relationship with their key worker whose role is to take ‘a special interest’ in that person.
